7. What was King George VI's first name?

Albert Frederick Arthur George Windsor, commonly called 'Bertie,' was the second son of George V and Mary Teck. He was born December 14, 1895, a sickly child with a bad stammer. He never wanted to be king, but when his older brother Edward abdicated the throne to be with "the women he loved" the mantle of monarchy fell on Albert, who was crowned George VI on December 11, 1936. He died of cancer on February 6, 1952 and the throne passed to the present monarch, Elizabeth II (or Elizabeth I, if one takes a strictly Scottish interpretation of the British monarchy)
