RTL has a collection of patterns. We do not lend patterns, and suggest you purchase your own from the pattern company listed. For those patterns no longer in print, we will make a copy on sturdy paper or non-fusable interfacing, sized to your measurements. There is a $10 fee to cover materials, labor and postage.
-
On both VHS and DVD, we have a collection of documentaries and other films representing history in all time periods. As wtih patterns we do not copy video materials, but showings can be arranged for those in the DC metro area. Also, many of these videos are suitable for classroom use and can be used as preparation by a teacher before an RTL live presentation.
-
We can not list every book in both our vast collections, so instead we have listed only those books and similar materials that were necessary to form a specific portrayal.
Please be patient while we assemble the list.

Tutoring in American History
We are the first ones to admit that history is not always a favorite subject for those in school. Ellen Wilds has a B.A. in U.S. History and is fully qualified to tutor school children of all ages in history, which in Maryland is essential to graduate from high school. If your child is struggling to absorb history material and needs help, give Ellen a call at 301-565-2359. Times and fees are open to negotiation.

The Little Dames School
Although a common feature in 19th century America, the specific training of young ladies (12 years and up) in the womanly arts has been long abandoned -- until now. For those living in the Washington, D. C. metro area, RTL personnel in Silver Spring, MD will teach small groups of young ladies sewing, spinning, embroidery, as well as women's history from ancient through modern times.
Sessions and prices are yet to be determined and will be based on interest and availability. If you have questions please contact Ellen Wilds at 301-565-2359.
