We make all of our own costumes and many of our own props. Some of these are for RTL use while others are for sale. The links below show a sample of items we have made already. A purchaser may choose something from the inventory or request a custom order.
We accept money orders, personal checks (with a 10 day clearance), and PayPal -- which is the only method of payment for orders sent out of the United States. The variety of items we sell precludes us from setting up shopping carts. Please email your order with all your preferences and specifics to Remember The Ladies and we will send you an invoice. Please put "RTL ORDER" in your subject line or else our very protective spamkiller will reject your communication.
If your order is a custom work, please send us a detailed description or a sketch from which to create the design. We will then send you an estimate and possibly an image of a similar piece or our interpretation of your description. We want you to be pleased with our work and will do everything we can to bring your artistic vision to reality.
As a general rule the price will be materials cost plus 10%, but if your piece requires materials or tools not in stock with RTL, some price negotiation will be necessary. However, haggling and bartering are proper to all time periods represented by RTL. We will ask for a down-payment to cover materials before commencement of any work. You may request an image of the work in progress at any time, but once the work has started the buyer and RTL are locked into a binding agreement.
Once the piece is completed, there will be a second payment to cover labor fees, and shipping. Packing, shipping and insurance (required for any work over $50) will be based on actual costs and your choice of delivery methods (UPS, USPS, DHL, Fedex).
